Baltic Amber Pendant with Mosquito Inclusion and Amethyst in Sterling Silver

This beautiful wire-wrapped pendant was made with a large piece of Baltic amber with faceted amethyst beads set in delicate herringbone weaves. There is also a mosquito embedded in this amber near the top, left-hand corner. This one-of-a-kind pendant was woven by-hand with solid, Sterling silver wire, which was oxidized naturally with egg yolk to bring out the texture of the weave, then hand-polished to a glossy luster. The whole pendant measures 42x32x20mm (1.7" x 1.3" x 0.8") and comes suspended on your choice of chain.
