This beautiful wire-wrapped pendant was made with a large piece of Baltic amber with faceted amethyst beads set in delicate herringbone weaves. There are a lot of miscellaneous (plant matter) inclusions in the amber, giving it a rugged, natural appearance. This one-of-a-kind pendant was woven by-hand with solid, Sterling silver wire, which was oxidized naturally with egg yolk to bring out the texture of the weave, then hand-polished to a glossy luster. There is a cavity in the cabochon, near the top-left corner but this is partially obstructed by the amethyst bead on that side. The whole pendant measures 48x33x23mm (1.9" x 1.3" x 0.9") and comes suspended on your choice of chain.
