This elaborate, handcrafted pendant was made with a vibrant turquoise chrysocolla cabochon, set in solid Sterling silver wire, woven by-hand to cascade around the edges. Silver loops and weaves wash about the base of the pendant while three fiery Ethiopian welo opals (with blue, green, red, orange and yellow fire), set in delicate, herringbone weaves, add to the richness of the stone. The wire was oxidized naturally with egg yolk to bring out the texture and intricacy of the wire-work. Finally, the entire silver surface was coated with a layer of clear lacquer to preserve the aged finish of the piece and to resist tarnish. The piece is available with your choice of chain and measures 31x20x15mm (1.2" x 0.8" x 0.6"). This is a one-of-a-kind item and there won't ever be another like it!
This piece comes in a luxurious, black velvet jeweler's box, contained in a cardboard outer shell (so you can wrap the box without damaging the velvet); perfect for gift-giving.
