This gorgeous, rich pendant was made with a raw, uncut Ethiopian desert opal nugget, fresh from the ground and still in it's natural matrix, was woven in solid Sterling silver wire with three fiery Ethiopian opals, set in delicate herringbone weaves. The vivid fire of the stone come to life with red, orange, yellow, green and blue patches, flashing across all exposed areas of the focal stone. All of the opals emit glittering fire with pops of blue, green, yellow, orange and red as the pendant turns in the light-- truly a delight! The wire was oxidized naturally with egg yolk, then sealed in clear lacquer to resist tarnish and protect the aged finish of the piece over time. The pendant comes suspended on your choice of chain and measures 38x27x16mm (1.5" x 1.1" x 0.6"). This is a one-of-a-kind item and there won't ever be another like it. It is rare to find welo opals set in antiqued Sterling silver because polishing is such a delicate process.
