This rustic, bohemian-style steampunk necklace was made with two sparkling Herkimer diamonds woven by-hand in brass wire structured with upcycled brass watch parts, gears, and an authentic Soviet Nixie tube. The pendant was given a vibrant, blue verdigris patina, that was sealed with a layer of clear lacquer to preserve the unique, aged finish of this unusual piece. A layer of clear UV-resin was also added to the back of the pendant to further shield the brass from contact with the wearer's skin and for added comfort.
The necklace comes suspended on an adjustable (18"-20") nubuck leather cord, that closes with a lobster-claw clasp. It also comes in eco-friendly packaging, which consists of a small, burlap gift bag, tucked inside an unfinished pine box, stuffed with shredded, recycled paper for extra padding. The pendant measures 47x27x16mm (1.9" x 1.1" x 0.6").
