This contemporary, wire-wrapped pendant features a polished fossilized dinosaur bone cabochon, straight from the badlands of Utah. The pendant measures 57x32x22mm (2.2" x 1.3" x 0.9") and comes suspended on your choice of chain. The focal stone is framed by faceted, gem-quality rhodolite garnet stones, set in delicate, herringbone weaves. The wire was oxidized then hand-polished to an aged finish.
*Agatized Dinosaur Bone or "dino bone" is the result of fossilized bone from dinosaurs in which the cellular structure has been replaced with quartz, leaving the bone structure intact. The coloring of the specimen is due to impurities that were in the surrounding sediment.
