Once I have your selections, I get to work creating your custom LED pendant. First, I set the colored LED of your choice in UV resin. Next, I add colored pigment to the resin and embed the LED to create the light. Choose one of ten colors. Next, I mount the your custom LED on black perfboard with a 3V coin cell battery holder on the back. The board is then fitted with a removable, Sterling silver wire-wrapped frame. The frame is accented with three, glossy, hematite beads, set in delicate herringbone weaves. You choose whether the silver remains in original bright silver, or darkened, then hand-polished to an aged finish. This is LED jewelry on a whole new level!
Each pendant measures approximately 43x33x28mm (1.7" x 1.3" x 1.1"), and comes suspended on your choice of chain. The circuitry is sealed in a combination of hot glue and electrical tape to keep out dirt/moisture, while affording access to the circuitry, should repair ever be required. The wire-wrapped frame may also be removed (by unscrewing the two nuts & bolts at the top of the frame) to make cleaning easier. Please bear in mind, however that this piece is not waterproof and moisture should be avoided.
