This wicked, mechanical pendant was handcrafted with a Namibian hyalite opal (also known as "glass opal) on a black tourmaline crystal. The opal fluoresces a brilliant, neon green under UV (365nm) light. Sparkling Herkimer diamonds with blue-fluorescing inclusions frame the focal crystal, adding to this wicked spectacle! Upcycled watch parts were woven by-hand onto the frame with solid, Sterling silver wire to create a "heavy metal" mechanical look.
The wire was oxidized naturally with egg yolk, then hand-polished to create the aged finish of the pendant, which measures 46x33x24mm (1.8" x 1.3" x 0.9") and comes suspended on your choice of Sterling silver chain. This unique, one-of-a-kind piece comes in a luxurious, black velvet jeweler's box, contained in a cardboard outer shell.
